Born in Heinola
Teit meistä kauniin
Dir. Tuukka Temonen
This is the story of four Finnish teenage boys and an American exchange student girl growing up during the devastating 90’s recession. They live in the small, industrial timber town of Heinola. As the parents of these young teens struggle through hard economic times, the five very different youths meet by coincidence to form the punk band Apulanta. The boys face adolescent problems and their first broken hearts while keeping up with the band. The film reveals the early stage story of one of the most famous Finnish bands and is shot by one of band-members Tuukka Temonen.
The film is screened in the original language with subtitles in Belarusian.
