On April 23rd to April 30th, to support all the initiatives postponed due to the global pandemic, Northern Lights Nordic-Baltic film festival will host a series of online events #zzyalive on the festival’s official Facebook page.
In April Northern Lights announced postponing the main program till autumn, when mass events are estimated to become a reality again. However, in order not to lose each other, Northern Lights invite you to join the live streams on the festival’s official Facebook page from April 23rd to April 30th. The format is dialogues on burning issues with filmmakers, cultural managers and social activists, both from Belarus and from abroad.
The first event to take place on April 14th was a dialogue with one of the 5th Northern Lights’ visuals creators, photographer Diana Biruk. That way, the festival crew has decided to proceed with the format of the cosy conversation. “LISTEN AND HEAR” is the festival’s slogan for the year 2020. Besides the literal meaning, it has to do with concern for our friends, our audience. This is why we urge you to stay at home and follow the fascinating events Northern Lights has to offer on the festival’s official Facebook page.
