NORTHERN LIGHTS GO LIVE

Northern Lights Nordic-Baltic Film Festival launches a new online project #ZZYALIVE, within which several events will take place. The first event on the list is a dialogue with one of the 5th Northern Lights’ visuals creator, photographer Diana Biruk. The event will take place on April 14th as a live session on the festival’s official Instagram profile.

Northern Lights Film Festival was to take place in late April, but plans had to be changed due to the global pandemic. However, the date of the 6th Northern Lights Film Festival is soon to be updated! Meanwhile, the festival organizers will keep its viewers tuned with live streams on Instagram starring various people, so that the viewers did not miss the festival, and the festival did not miss its viewers!

 

Our first guest is: Diana Biruk, photographer.

 

Diana was born in Ivatsevichy, Belarus. Now she lives in New York, USA. In 2019 she participated in creating the 5th Northern Lights’ visuals by taking pictures of producer Darya Zhuk. During the live stream, Diana will speak on the burning issues, such as her quarantine experience in New York and how the quarantine affected her work. Diana will also speak back to her experience of learning photography and share her sources of inspiration. The photographer will as well share her impressions from working together with Darya Zhuk for the festival’s promotion campaign. A few secrets on the backstage of the process will be revealed.
